Paymaster is working to better serve you our valued customer. In order to prevent unauthorized usage of credit cards on our site we have implemented a one time verification process to ensure that credit card used on our site is done with the full consent of the cardholder.

Existing and new users required to verify a credit card for use on the site at anytime. Users will be required to use the Manage Payment Method link found on the site and completing the step by step instruction provided.

In order to be able to successful submit payment for processing; the credit being used must be verified (authenticated). The not verified status for a credit card indicated that the verification process is incomplete and we have not been able to verify the authenticity of the information provider to us by the online user. To correct this status please retrieves via email the verification email and complete the indicated steps

Account holders on the site may use multiple methods of payment. However in order to use another credit card for payment, this credit card must be verified and approved by us for transaction processing.

In order to complete the verification process for a credit card, the online user must provide the approval code received from their Financial Institution for the initial test transaction submitted. After three unsuccessful attempts at providing this code, the user will need to re-register the credit card.

Before an online user can made any online payment they are required confirm credit details provided. The verification process involves the following:

  • Paymaster submitting a reversible random transaction amount to the credit card account supplied by the user
  • The cardholder/online user liaise with their Financial Institution to obtaining the details of the transaction submitted by Paymaster
  • Online user login to the paymaster online portal and provide the approval/authorization code of the transaction submitted by Paymaster
  • Once successful authentication of the credit card account is confirmed , the online user has approval to use the credit card on the Paymaster’s Online site
  • Verified/Approved online users will now be able to submit bill payment transactions using the successfully approved credit card.

Paymaster does passes on a gateway fee for transactions submitted via our online portal.

The sub-account functionality found on the online portal allows an online user to delegate the some functionality of the main account to a sub-account holder. The sub-account holder will be able to load payments for designated accounts but will not be able to submit these payments for processing without the account holders permission

Once a payment transaction has been processed the outcome of that processing will be sent via email to the online user. Contained within the failed notification response is the reason for the failure. In order to correct user are required to resubmit the account for process.

In order to protect our A user account will be suspended/deactivated after 5 unsuccessful attempts at login. An automated email advisory will be sent to the email address of the user. This email will provide access to a link to unlock the account

From time users may forget the password assigned to their account. A reminder email can be requested from the system. In order to request same please use the forget password option found on the site. Once the security question response for the account is provided the password will be email to the address on record for the account holder.

Yes. Transactions that are submitted before 6 pm EST Mon –Saturday will be processed same day. All other transaction submitted after this time and on public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
